The silver Krugerrand is a newer coin — first struck in 2017 — carrying the same famous design as the gold original, now in one ounce of .999 fine silver. It is a pure bullion piece, so its value is simply that ounce of silver measured against the day's price, quick and clean to work out with you.
Our buyer authenticates the coin, weighs it, and reads the live silver market onto its content. Bullion-grade Krugerrands typically go for 85–90% of the silver spot quote; the odd proof or premium-finish coin can be worth a bit more, which we allow for when buyers will pay it. You collect payment during the visit, and nothing is shipped anywhere.
What to bring and what to expect
Bring your silver Krugerrands as they come — loose, in tubes, or in capsules — with any certificates or graded holders you happen to have. We do need to see valid photo ID to buy.
